It was on Feb 14 2009 at 5pm,that my view about relationship changed completely
She was 14 and I was 17 years then
I had nothing special to present her on valentine day. After a long thought,I bought a small gift and a Red Rose.At that time we weren't allowed to use phone,so i had to go and meet her personally. And ya still now I don't know how to say a romantic lines to a girl. So I went to her home. She welcomed me inside.Her mom was busy cooking,There were my girlfriend and her cute younger sister
I was a bit nervous. I thought I'd take her somewhere or to a party that night and do whatever i desires
She said ''Excuse me'' and then went on to help her mom making tea for me. At the mean time her younger sister came and asked me ''Brother,do you love my sister?''
I said Of course I love her and I'm gonna marry her,I joked!
After few minutes, she came with a cup of tea.
I said ''Thank you''
She sat right next to me and gt hold my hands in her arms, then she asked me ''How are you?''
I said ''i am fine thank you''
Without any delayed,I took out the gift and gave her.She gave a strange look at my gift.In the next few minutes,her face turned red and angry,She stood up and threw back my gift right on my face. ''How dare you do like this to me?,Get out of my house!'' She said and then went into her room weeping sob!sob!sob
Being very much dejected,I picked up my gift and left the house without saying a word.I was deeply hurt,I came back home deeply depressed.All the broken pieces of heart tends to beat faster.She had cursed me a pain that was beyond my control.I couldn't eat,i couldn't sleep,i couldn't talk even to my mom.
Mom wanted to know why but how could i tell her.Mom used to say "My son,you must not fall in love with a girl until the completion of your studies'' but Im sorry mom! I've fallen in love!
In the evening,her cute younger sister came to tell me that her sister wants to talk with me.Without any hesitation,i went to her home again despite the pain she cursed me but this time not with the gift.When i reached home,she was sitting on a chair with all her mood off.I entered the room without saying a word
Then she asked me ''Where is my gift?''
I said, i have thrown it away
"Ok ok,forget it" she said
She came closer and began to say-"My friend,why should you give me a gift? Who are you? i don't want your gift ok. Don't even think of giving me again if you want to be my friend or else i'll slap you,you and me are nothing ya,don't give me and i'll not give you as well''
''But why'' I asked angrily!
''Uufoo! Why don't you understand me'' she said.
She stared right into my eyes "Come here" she said
"My dear Akaai,you are a student and i'm a student too.You earn not even a paise, the money which your parents sent you for your books,pens or pencils should be use wisely.Our parents toils every day for just ₹50,so instead of wasting it for my gift,you could have buy pencils or pens isn't it?
I rejected your gift because it wasn't really yours but im sorry that i threw it on your face,Did it hurt you?''.
"But it was just a small gift ya,you should have received it with affection'' i said
''Im sorry" she said
She rested her head on my shoulder,hold me tight and went on saying this-
"Whether big or small,it wasn't really your money,if you want to give me then give me when you EARN YOURSELF not now,at that time i'd be gladful enough to take your gift,i'd love it,I really love and care for you thats why i did it"
My heart rejoiced. Blood of excitement and joy ran through my veins.I lookd up and it was 5pm. Sky was clear and blue with some stars started to shine. Her mom was busy rubbing her tears,her younger sister couldn't hold back her tears
She was so beautiful as always.Her innocent smile,her dark cute eyes right into the front lobe of my left side brain.Her beautiful thoughts touched my heart.I wish i could kiss her but Aunty!why didn't you go away?hehe! I couldn't hold back my tears,
I stood up right there and shouted..
"Thank You Lily!,you are so sweet! You are so cute!I love you so much!muaah!''.
"I love you too Akaai, please never leave me alone'' she said.
Then i got up and came back home.I was so so excited that i failed the next day exam haha..
I couldn't fall sleep that night.May be reality is better than dreams.That evening was the best moment i ever had since i was born in 1993.
Wow!Such is my girlfriend ya,she is just 14 but matured enough.She has given me the true meaning of relationship.She has quite different views about love and lovers unlike others. What kind of a girl would she be!And I want to know how many Naga girls are like my SUPPOSED girlfriend? Or is your girl always demanding? Naga girls and boys,even teenages thinks relationship means sex,party,treat,gifts and what not..
